Madina didn’t know what the beach was. She had never seen the ocean before. We knew this would be her only time ever that she would experience this. We tried to explain about the salty water, but as soon as she swallowed some, she knew it was “icky”. She loved the waves and I spent hours out there playing with her. While in the water, she clung to me tightly and never did let go. It was so much fun! Nana packed a yummy picnic and we had lunch then swam some more.
