After church one Sunday, we went to the Apple Store down in South Park. This did not go over well with Madina. She was moody that day for some reason and wasn’t talking to us. She didn’t like going to Sunday School or Church so that may have been part of it. She was always bored and antsy. She was very wiggly and it was hard for her to sit still for the morning. Anyway, the look on her face in these pictures (at the Apple Store) says it all. This was her “I don’t want to be here, but I’ll try to smile for you” look. I always knew when I saw that look, she was not a happy girl.
I was working extra hard to get her out of that mood, when suddenly we came to the shoe section in Belk. Ooooo... things began to get better immediately! She couldn’t believe all the shoes! She loved the high heals and wanted to try on everything. We were there for awhile and poor Joe fell asleep in a chair. Madina kept putting heels on and showing me how they fit her perfectly! It was so funny! Oh the girl loves to shoe shop. I think I sent her home with 8 pairs.
