We received a kind invitation from Alise to join her, Meetra and Spozhmay at the Winfield pool one afternoon. She didn’t understand what a pool was. She kept saying “Lake”. I simply googled it and clicked on the image tab… instant pictures of swimming pools. I’ve used the Google technique many times and have found it to be a great visual communication tool for us. The kids had such a wonderful time being together! Madina even attempted to jump in a few times. She’s really adapting to the water now. Madina and Meetra are very close and live together at the orphanage in Kabul.
