A Ship at Sea
In Afghanistan there are are no lakes or large bodies of water—only rivers and streams. The kids call Lake Norman “The Sea”. To them it’s huge and like the ocean. The Hamilton’s little ski boat is also know as “The Ship”. Kawa and Madina like to drive the ship on the sea. It’s so amazing to stop and imagine what things look like from their perspective. This is a humbling experience and I love every minute of it. Thank you again Don and Crystal for the wonderful afternoon at sea on your ship!
